MEET THE TEAM

Katlego is the founder and Managing Director of Edukat. With more than 15 years of experience in the education sector, he leads the company’s strategic direction and partnerships to drive meaningful, measurable student outcomes. His expertise spans student success, institutional capacity building, and programme delivery across basic and higher education.

He holds a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education (cum laude), and is an ACCA affiliate. Katlego is known for his data-informed, results-driven leadership and is passionate about advancing equity and student employability through ethical, collaborative solutions.

Kopano Molefe is a business and legal analyst with deep experience in private equity, venture capital, and strategic advisory. With a background that includes work in a R450M MSME-focused investment firm, he brings a balanced perspective that blends commercial acumen with legally sound decision-making. His strengths lie in supporting organisations with integrated legal and business guidance, ensuring that strategies are practical, compliant, and aligned with long-term growth.

Kopano leads in-house legal and business support across operational and strategic areas, offering both generalist and specialist expertise. Known for his analytical mindset, precision, and calm problem-solving style, he is committed to helping clients navigate complex environments with clarity and confidence. Beyond his professional work, Kopano has introduced entrepreneurship programmes to more than 2 000 high school learners, reflecting his passion for youth empowerment and development.

Tarryn brings over eight years of experience in education and training, with a background in law and labour relations. She holds a BCom Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law. Her work includes leading multi-stakeholder student support programmes, developing toolkits, and training staff in evidence-based practices.

She is valued for her calm, collaborative approach and her ability to translate data and trends into actionable strategies. Tarryn is passionate about purpose-driven, student-centred solutions that deliver lasting impact.

Nakisani Jesca Liphadzi is an experienced international development professional specialising in education, learning administration, and programme coordination across Africa. With over a decade of experience and current postgraduate study in Inclusive Innovation at the University of Cape Town, she brings a strong blend of academic insight, operational skill, and commitment to equitable learning systems.

She currently serves as Programme Coordinator for Outreach (Africa) at the Pulitzer Center, where she manages multi-country education initiatives, strengthens partnerships with schools and universities, and oversees programme logistics and contract management. Her earlier roles at USAID Southern Africa, Embraer, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners further shaped her expertise in training, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.

Nakisani is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach and her passion for advancing learning opportunities that empower individuals and communities. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, mentoring, and exploring creative avenues for social impact.

Tebogo is a junior consultant with over three years of marketing experience across sectors, including higher education. He holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Stellenbosch University and has contributed to research projects on access, equity, and responsiveness in the education system.

He brings a strong foundation in strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and student support. Outside of work, Tebogo tutors secondary school learners and is an avid fitness enthusiast.
