Katlego is a higher education leader and systems strategist with more than 15 years of experience across student success, education funding, programme leadership and institutional strategy. As Founder and Managing Director of Edukat, he leads the organisation’s strategic direction and works with clients and partners across the higher education ecosystem to strengthen student success, employability and institutional effectiveness.

His work focuses on the intersection of funding, institutional systems and student support, helping translate investment and strategy into measurable outcomes. His experience spans higher education strategy, bursary and wraparound support programmes, programme design and implementation, institutional transformation, stakeholder partnerships and data-informed decision-making.

Katlego’s academic and professional background spans both accountancy and higher education. He holds an MSc in Professional Accountancy from the University of London, a Postgraduate Diploma in Tertiary Education (cum laude), and a Bachelor of Accounting Sciences. He is also an ACCA Affiliate.

This interdisciplinary foundation informs his systems approach to education strategy, financial sustainability, governance, risk and performance, enabling him to connect strategic priorities, funding and student support into more integrated and outcomes-driven approaches.

Kopano Molefe is a business and legal analyst with deep experience in private equity, venture capital, and strategic advisory. With a background that includes work in a R450M MSME-focused investment firm, he brings a balanced perspective that blends commercial acumen with legally sound decision-making. His strengths lie in supporting organisations with integrated legal and business guidance, ensuring that strategies are practical, compliant, and aligned with long-term growth.

Kopano leads in-house legal and business support across operational and strategic areas, offering both generalist and specialist expertise. Known for his analytical mindset, precision, and calm problem-solving style, he is committed to helping clients navigate complex environments with clarity and confidence. Beyond his professional work, Kopano has introduced entrepreneurship programmes to more than 2 000 high school learners, reflecting his passion for youth empowerment and development.

Tarryn brings over eight years of experience in education and training, with a background in law and labour relations. She holds a BCom Law and a Postgraduate Diploma in Labour Law. Her work includes leading multi-stakeholder student support programmes, developing toolkits, and training staff in evidence-based practices.

She is valued for her calm, collaborative approach and her ability to translate data and trends into actionable strategies. Tarryn is passionate about purpose-driven, student-centred solutions that deliver lasting impact.

Nakisani Jesca Liphadzi is an experienced international development professional specialising in education, learning administration, and programme coordination across Africa. With over a decade of experience and current postgraduate study in Inclusive Innovation at the University of Cape Town, she brings a strong blend of academic insight, operational skill, and commitment to equitable learning systems.

She currently serves as Programme Coordinator for Outreach (Africa) at the Pulitzer Center, where she manages multi-country education initiatives, strengthens partnerships with schools and universities, and oversees programme logistics and contract management. Her earlier roles at USAID Southern Africa, Embraer, and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners further shaped her expertise in training, capacity building, and stakeholder engagement.

Nakisani is known for her thoughtful, collaborative approach and her passion for advancing learning opportunities that empower individuals and communities. Outside of work, she enjoys writing, mentoring, and exploring creative avenues for social impact.

Tebuhleni is a registered Educational Psychologist and student success specialist with more than a decade of experience across higher education, student support and philanthropic programmes. At Edukat, she works with clients and partners to design evidence-informed and context-responsive approaches that promote student well-being, progression, completion and agency.

Her work brings together educational psychology, student success practice and systems thinking. She has a particular interest in helping institutions move beyond isolated interventions towards integrated approaches that connect student needs with organisational processes, data, referral pathways and programme design. Her focus is on translating strategy into practical systems and programmes that improve the student experience, strengthen institutional responsiveness and contribute to more equitable and sustainable student outcomes.

Tebuhleni holds a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and an LLD from the University of Pretoria and is registered as an Educational Psychologist. Her work bridges research, policy and practice, with a strong emphasis on ethical practice, equity and creating meaningful, sustainable impact in student success.

Tebogo is a marketing and stakeholder engagement professional with more than four years of experience across strategic marketing, brand positioning, research and client engagement. At Edukat, he contributes to projects that help clients and partners better understand their audiences, align stakeholders and translate complex ideas into clear, relevant and meaningful engagement within higher education and student success contexts.

His work combines strategic marketing, research and human-centred engagement, with experience spanning communications and brand strategy, stakeholder alignment, market and audience insight, and the development of responsive approaches to organisational and programme needs. He has also contributed to sector-focused research exploring educational access, equity and responsiveness across education systems.

Tebogo holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from Stellenbosch University. His approach is grounded in ethical practice, continuous learning and a strong commitment to creating value that is relevant to clients, responsive to stakeholder needs and meaningful to the communities and audiences they serve.
